YIN YANG BOATS
THE STORY
A composition of two elements that define each other: light and deep, open and hidden, gentle and powerful. The water surfaces resemble two states of mind. One bathed in light and calm, the other mysterious and dense. At their boundary arises a tension that does not separate, but connects.
The boats hover like delicate markers within this natural equilibrium. Their clean lines, almost geometric in appearance, bring order to the organic structure of the reef. They do not feel accidental, but like a quiet choreography: movement without haste, presence without sound.
This motif emerged casually, yet completely. Over Siargao in the Philippines, where the sea breathes in shades from jade to emerald, and time seems to slow. From this perspective, what is often overlooked in daily life becomes visible. Contrasts are not contradictions, but prerequisites. Vastness touches only because there is depth. Stillness is not the absence of energy, but its perfected form.
This artwork shapes spaces. It does not merely create atmosphere. It creates a stance: elegant, minimal, luxurious in its quietude. One glance is enough, and it lingers as a reminder that true aesthetics begin where balance becomes emotion.
