TARZAN'S BEACH
THE STORY
This artwork was created in Siargao in the Philippines: in a place that doesn't speak loudly, but reverberates.
A place that transforms those who are willing to slow down and truly look. From a bird's-eye view, the island reveals its essence: the steady breath of the ocean, the quiet permanence of the palm trees, and the delicate, almost poetic line where land and sea merge.
This moment wasn't captured as a fleeting instant, but as a conscious encounter. Beneath its shimmering surface, the reef speaks of time, depth, and resilience. Shaped by tides that existed long before us and will continue to exist far beyond our time. The water moves in nuances from rich emerald to translucent turquoise, like a gentle pulse flowing through the island. Everything appears ordered, natural, imbued with an inherent elegance.
The narrow strip of sand forms a transition, a gentle boundary between movement and stillness, between vastness and shelter. The palm trees stand like silent guardians of the coast, their long shadows tracing the sun's path. In that moment, time lost its urgency. Words became superfluous. Presence sufficed.
For us, Siargao is far more than a geographical location. It is a part of our shared memory, deeply interwoven with moments of arrival, of pausing, and of genuine connection. Here we learned to trust silence and what arises between two thoughts. This place gave us space for clarity, for closeness, and for a rare sense of timeless peace.
This artwork is an invitation to enter precisely this state. It invites you to let yourself be carried by the vastness, to feel the warmth of the light, and to absorb the gentle power of nature. It speaks of balance: between primal origins and subtle refinement, between freedom and rootedness, between distance and intimacy.
To own this work is to preserve a fragment of Siargao. A silent promise that there are still places where beauty is not staged, where luxury lies in simplicity, and where time loses its harshness.
This is not just a representation of a place.
It's a feeling. A memory.
And now ready to become part of a new story.
